Your mission as a team leader

We are looking for someone who wants to gain practical experience in the role of Team Leader this summer. In this role, you will lead our summer workers from Stockholm city. You will be an important leadership function for our summer workers and you will also get to participate in our administrative systems and be responsible for, for example, further follow-up regarding the summer workers. A fantastic role for you who are driven to lead others and motivated by challenges.

You will work weekdays from 07:00 to 15:30, the assignment spans weeks 23–32, and it is important that you are available to work throughout the entire period. You will be based at Svevia's establishment in Skarpnäck.

We are looking for someone who is studying or has just graduated from a vocational school or a construction engineering program and has a strong interest in the operations and maintenance of roads. You are motivated by structure, order, and cleanliness and have an administrative flair. You have good collaboration skills and we would like you to have previous experience in leading other people. Furthermore, you are confident and trustworthy, you enjoy solving problems, and you value clear communication at all levels.

In addition to your personal qualities and having a relevant education, you need to have:

  • A valid driver's license, preferably for a manual transmission vehicle
  • Good Swedish language skills in both spoken and written form

Part of something bigger

Svevia is currently Sweden's largest operations contractor. In operations and maintenance, we manage summer and winter road maintenance for half of the state's road network. Many municipalities, private companies, and road associations hire us to take care of their roads and outdoor environments.

With us, you contribute to a larger whole. We plow for the family heading to the mountains. We ensure that the business sector's goods transport reaches its destination and keep streets, squares, and parks clean and tidy. Additionally, we protect lives on the road through our offerings in traffic arrangements.

Why Svevia?

Based on Svevia's strategies, goals, and values, you will receive the conditions necessary to make a difference and contribute to the company's development. The decision-making paths are short, it is easy to influence, and make your voice heard.
